Chiemseer beer

Chiemseer is a traditional German beer brand that originated in the Rosenheim region of Bavaria. Despite its name referring to Lake Chiemsee, the brand was historically associated with regional brewing traditions in Rosenheim. It is known for its Helles lager, which has gained significant popularity across Germany for its mild, classic Bavarian taste.

Today, the brand is owned by the Auerbräu brewery in Rosenheim, which in turn is a subsidiary of the Paulaner Brewery Group. This larger group is a joint venture between the Schörghuber Corporate Group and Heineken. All Chiemseer beer is produced in Rosenheim, Germany, maintaining its Bavarian heritage while benefiting from the distribution network of a major international beverage consortium.
