Costa Coffee is a globally recognized coffee brand that originated in London, England. Founded in 1971 by brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa, it grew from a small wholesale roastery into one of the largest coffeehouse chains in the world.

Today, the brand's instant coffee products and retail beans are distributed widely across supermarkets. While the brand maintains a significant roasting facility in Basildon, Essex (the Paradise Street roastery), the actual raw beans are sourced from various tropical regions including Vietnam, Brazil, and Colombia, and the processing of instant coffee often takes place in multiple manufacturing hubs across Europe and Asia to meet global demand.

In 2019, the brand underwent a major ownership shift when it was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company from Whitbread PLC.
