RECARO Child Car Seat

RECARO is a world-renowned brand synonymous with ergonomic seating and safety, originally established in Germany. The brand has a history dating back to 1906 when Wilhelm Reutter founded a saddlery business. Over the decades, it evolved from coachbuilding for automotive giants to pioneering the world's first shell seat for cars and dedicated child safety systems.

Today, the RECARO brand is managed through a licensing model. The Kids division, which specializes in child car seats and strollers, is managed by Recaro Kids s.r.l. Following a partnership agreement in 2018, the Italian company Artsana Group (the makers of Chicco) took over the global licensing for RECARO's child safety products. While the engineering and brand legacy remain rooted in German safety standards, the manufacturing and distribution are primarily handled through Artsana's infrastructure, with significant production occurring in Italy.
