Fisherman's Friend Strawberry & Lime lozenges

Fisherman's Friend is a world-renowned brand of strong menthol lozenges. The product was originally developed in 1865 by pharmacist James Lofthouse in Fleetwood, Lancashire, to provide relief for deep-sea fishermen working in the harsh conditions of the North Atlantic off the Icelandic coast. Initially produced as a liquid, it was later converted into the small lozenges that are iconic today.

The brand remains a family-owned enterprise, held by the Lofthouse family company, Lofthouse of Fleetwood Ltd. Unlike many global confectionery brands, it has not been acquired by a large multinational conglomerate. All Fisherman's Friend lozenges are still manufactured in the original town of Fleetwood, England, and are exported to over 100 countries worldwide.
