Dansukker is the leading sugar brand in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The Jam Sugar (Syltsocker) shown is specifically formulated for home preserves, containing pectin from citrus fruits. This product is manufactured by Nordic Sugar AB, which operates major sugar beet processing facilities in Sweden and Denmark.

Historically, the brand dates back to the Nordic sugar monopolies formed in the early 20th century. While it has its roots in the Danish company De Danske Sukkerfabrikker and the Swedish Sockerbolaget, it is now part of a global industry leader. Since 2009, the ultimate ownership belongs to the German company Nordzucker AG, one of Europe's largest sugar producers, following their acquisition of Nordic Sugar.
