Tegnér & Son is a Swedish brand with a history dating back to 1880, founded by wine merchant Esaias Tegnér. The brand is deeply rooted in Swedish beverage traditions, particularly known for its glögg (mulled wine) recipes which have been passed down through generations.

Today, the brand is owned by Galatea AB, one of Scandinavia's leading beverage suppliers. While the wine used in the base may be sourced internationally (often from organic vineyards in Spain or Italy), the final blending, spicing, and production of the product take place in Sweden to ensure the traditional flavor profile. Galatea itself is part of the larger Martin & Servera group, which is a major wholesaler and distributor in the Nordic region.
