Historiska Media is a specialized Swedish publishing house based in Lund, Scania. Founded in 1995, the company has built an industry-leading reputation for literature focused on historical subjects, including popular history, biographies, and historical fiction. Originally an independent house founded by Erik Osvalds and associates, Historiska Media was acquired by Bonnierförlagen in 2022. This acquisition integrated the historical specialist into Sweden's largest publishing conglomerate, though it maintains its distinct brand identity and editorial focus. Most of their physical production is handled within Sweden or through European printing partners consistent with Swedish publishing standards.
