Grov Stark Snus

Grov is a historic and highly regarded brand of Swedish snus originally registered in 1915 by the manufacturer Willhelm Hellgren & Co. Known for its coarse grind ('grov' means coarse in Swedish) and robust tobacco flavor profile, it has become a staple in the Swedish tobacco market. The brand was later absorbed into the Swedish Match portfolio, where it remains one of their core traditional brands.

Swedish Match, the longtime producer of Grov, was acquired by the global tobacco giant Philip Morris International (PMI) in a major deal finalized in late 2022. Today, Grov continues to be manufactured in Sweden, adhering to the GothiaTek quality standard, but it is now part of PMI's extensive international brand portfolio as the company pivots toward smoke-free alternatives.
