Prince de LU is an iconic brand of biscuits currently owned by the multinational snacks company Mondelez International. Originally, the 'Prince' biscuit was created in 1894 by the Belgian baker Edward De Beukelaer to honor the Prince of Belgium during a visit to Antwerp. The biscuit consists of a cocoa-flavored cream filling sandwiched between two round golden biscuits.

Over the decades, the brand became part of the LU (Lefèvre-Utile) portfolio, which was later acquired by Groupe Danone. In 2007, Danone sold its biscuits division to Kraft Foods, which eventually spun off its snack food division to become Mondelez International in 2012. Today, Prince biscuits are a staple in European households, particularly in France, Belgium, and Denmark, with major production facilities located in France.
