Patak's Korma Cooking Sauce

Patak's is an iconic brand synonymous with Indian cuisine in the Western world. Founded in 1958 by Laxmishanker Pathak in London, the company began as a small family business selling Indian sweets and snacks before expanding into the sauces and pastes that made it famous globally.

Today, while the brand maintains its British-Indian heritage and still manufactures a majority of its products in the United Kingdom (specifically at its facility in Leigh, Greater Manchester for the European market), it is no longer family-owned. In 2007, Patak's was acquired by Associated British Foods (ABF). ABF is a massive British multinational food processing and retail company that also owns other major brands like Twinings and Primark. The brand remains a leader in the international market, providing authentic Indian flavors through a variety of convenience-focused products.
