Haribo Tropifrutti is a popular variety of fruit-flavored gummies produced by Haribo. The brand was founded in 1920 by Hans Riegel in Bonn, Germany; the name 'Haribo' is an acronym for Hans Riegel Bonn.

Haribo remains a family-owned enterprise, currently controlled by the Riegel family. While the brand originated in Germany, Tropifrutti is manufactured in several of Haribo's European production facilities to meet international demand. The company is famous for its slogan 'Haribo macht Kinder froh – und Erwachsene ebenso' (Haribo makes children happy – and adults as well), which is visible on the packaging shown in the image.
