Systen Conti is a prescription hormone replacement therapy (HRT) product used primarily to alleviate symptoms of menopause. The brand was originally developed by Janssen Pharmaceutica, a company founded in Belgium and later integrated into the American multinational Johnson & Johnson.
In recent years, as part of a strategic shift to focus on innovative medicines, Johnson & Johnson spun off several of its legacy and consumer health pharmaceutical brands. The Systen range is now under the ownership of Theramex, a global pharmaceutical company dedicated specialized in women's health. While the brand is managed from London, manufacturing typically occurs at specialized pharmaceutical facilities across Europe, most notably in Germany, to ensure compliance with strict medical standards.
