Tyrrells is a premium brand of hand-cooked potato crisps that originated in Herefordshire, England. Founded in 2002 by farmer William Chase, the brand initially differentiated itself by using potatoes grown on the founder's own farm. The brand quickly became an icon of British snack food packaging, featuring eccentric archival photography.

Over the years, the company has undergone several ownership changes. It was initially sold to Langholm Capital, then to Amplify Snack Brands. Today, Tyrrells is part of the KP Snacks family, which is itself a subsidiary of the Intersnack Group, a major European snack manufacturer based in Germany. While the brand maintains its British heritage and primary production in the UK, many international batches are produced in Intersnack facilities across Europe, specifically in France and Germany, as indicated on the packaging labels.
