Fox's Chocolatey Rounds are a premium shortcake biscuit fully coated in milk chocolate, produced by Fox's Biscuits. The brand has a heritage dating back to 1853 when Michael Spedding opened a small bakehouse in Batley, West Yorkshire. For generations, the company was known for its traditional baking methods and iconic branding.
Following several ownership changes over the decades, including time under Northern Foods and 2 Sisters Food Group, Fox's Biscuits was acquired in late 2020 by the Ferrero-related company, CTH Invest. This transition placed the historic British brand under the umbrella of one of the world's largest confectionery giants. Today, the biscuits are primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom at Fox's established bakeries in Batley or Kirkham, maintaining their British production roots while operating under Italian-owned corporate leadership.
