Menabrea Beer

Menabrea is Italy's oldest continuously operating brewery holding a prestigious reputation for premium lager and ale production. Founded in 1846 in Biella, Piedmont, the brewery was established by the Welf family and the Menabrea brothers. The brand is known for utilizing local Alpine water and high-quality ingredients, maintaining its traditional brewing methods over nearly two centuries.

While the brand maintains its historic brewery in Biella for its core production, it is now part of a larger corporate family. Since the early 1990s, Menabrea has been owned by Gruppo Birra Forst, another historic Italian brewing company based in South Tyrol. Despite this ownership, Menabrea retains its distinct identity and continues to be marketed globally as a symbol of Italian craftsmanship in the brewing industry.
