Croky is a renowned Belgian snack brand with a history dating back to 1966. It was originally founded by the Huyghe family in Nieuwkerke, Belgium, who named the brand after their family parrot, Croky, which remains the brand's mascot to this day. Over the years, the brand underwent various ownership changes, including a period under the British conglomerate United Biscuits and even partial involvement by PepsiCo in specific markets.

In 2004, the brand returned to Belgian ownership when it was acquired by Roger & Roger, a family-owned potato chip manufacturer based in Mouscron. Since the acquisition, the production of Croky chips, including the newer tortilla varieties like the Bolognese flavour shown in the image, has been centered at the Roger & Roger state-of-the-art facility in Mouscron, Belgium. The company has heavily invested in modernizing its production lines to include gluten-free and vegan options, ensuring the brand remains a staple in the Benelux region and beyond.
