Cora pur arabica Intense ground coffee

Cora 'pur arabica Intense' is a private-label ground coffee product originally developed for the Cora hypermarket chain. The coffee itself is a blend of 100% Arabica beans sourced from major global coffee-growing regions such as South America and Central America, while the roasting and final packaging typically occur in France to supply the European market.

Historically, the Cora brand was a flagship of the Belgian retail giant Louis Delhaize Group. However, starting in 2023 and finalizing in July 2024, the retail landscape for the brand changed significantly. The French operations of Cora, including its private-label brands, were acquired by Carrefour Group in a major €1.05 billion deal. As a result, the brand is currently being integrated into Carrefour's ecosystem, with many Cora-branded products being replaced or supplemented by Carrefour’s own range as the physical stores are rebranded. In Luxembourg, the Cora banner was acquired by E.Leclerc, while the remaining Belgian stores are scheduled for closure or conversion by early 2026.
