Yum Yum is a prominent brand of instant noodles that originated in Thailand. It was established in 1971 by the Wan Thai Foods Industry Co., Ltd., which holds the distinction of being the first instant noodle manufacturer in Thailand. The brand quickly became a household name locally and expanded its reach significantly through a strategic partnership.

In 1972, Wan Thai Foods Industry entered into a joint venture with the Japanese multinational Ajinomoto Co., Inc. This partnership integrated Japanese production standards and flavoring expertise into the Thai brand, helping Yum Yum to grow into a global player. Today, the products are manufactured in Thailand and exported to over 60 countries worldwide, including major markets in Europe and Asia. The brand is ultimately owned by Ajinomoto, a global leader in food and amino acids headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
