Arkopharma is a prominent European leader in the field of phytotherapy (herbal medicine) and dietary supplements. Founded in 1980 by Dr. Max Rombi, the brand pioneered the use of cryogrinding technology to preserve the active ingredients of medicinal plants in capsule form, notably through its flagship range, Arkogélules. The brand emphasizes natural health solutions across various categories, including immunity, sleep, beauty, and digestion.

While the brand maintains its historical and principal manufacturing hub in Carros, France, it operates a fully integrated industrial model with additional production sites in Waterford, Ireland, and Ventimiglia, Italy. This vertical integration allows the company to control the entire value chain from research and development to final distribution across more than 60 countries. In early 2023, Arkopharma was acquired by the German pharmaceutical group Dermapharm, which has since integrated the brand as its primary growth platform for natural healthcare in Western and Southern Europe.
