Acqua dell'Elba is a prestigious artisanal fragrance house that embodies the essence of the Tuscan Archipelago. Founded at the end of the 1990s by three Elban entrepreneurs—Fabio Murzi, Chiara Murzi, and Marco Turoni—the brand was born from a shared vision to capture the magic of the sea and the island's natural flora in a bottle. Inspired by a historic discovery of a 2nd-century perfume bottle found aboard a Roman shipwreck near the island, the founders set out to revive the traditional Tuscan Renaissance workshop model.

Every stage of production remains deeply rooted in its place of origin. The company operates its laboratories and headquarters in Marciana Marina, a coastal hamlet on Elba Island. Here, master perfumers and local artisans handcraft the products, including perfumes, home diffusers, and body care items. This commitment to local manufacturing ensures that each item is a genuine reflection of the island's heritage and craftsmanship.

Ownership of the brand has remained remarkably stable and independent. Acqua dell'Elba is a family-owned enterprise, operating as Acqua dell'Elba S.r.l. (a certified Benefit Corporation). Unlike many luxury fragrance brands that have been acquired by large multi-national conglomerates, Acqua dell'Elba continues to be managed by its original founders, maintaining its autonomy and focusing on sustainable growth and territorial marketing that benefits the local community.
