Exquisa is a prominent German dairy brand best known for its range of cream cheese and fromage frais products. The brand was established by the Karwendel-Werke Huber GmbH & Co. KG, a family-owned dairy company founded in 1909 by Franz Xaver Huber. Originally starting as a small local dairy in the Bavarian region, the company moved its headquarters to Buchloe, Germany, in 1948, where its main production facility remains located today.

All Exquisa products, including the herb-infused 'Erbe Aromatiche' cream cheese, are manufactured at the company's facility in Buchloe using fresh milk sourced from regional farms in the Alpine Uplands. The brand gained significant popularity in the 1970s with its famous jingle 'Mmmh Exquisa,' which emphasized the product's distinctive creamy texture and taste. Today, Exquisa continues to be owned and managed by the third generation of the founding Huber family through Karwendel-Werke, maintaining its status as one of Germany's leading privately-owned dairy enterprises.
