Daim chocolate minis

Daim is a classic Swedish chocolate bar known for its crunchy butter almond toffee center coated in smooth milk chocolate. It was originally created by the Swedish confectionery company Marabou in 1953 under the name "Dajm." The product was inspired by the American Heath bar, but Marabou developed its own unique recipe that became a massive success in Scandinavia before expanding globally. In 1990, the name was standardized to "Daim" across most international markets.

The brand's journey through corporate ownership began with Marabou and its Norwegian sister company Freia. In 1993, these companies were acquired by Kraft Foods. Following a major corporate restructuring in 2012, the snacking division of Kraft Foods was spun off to form Mondelēz International, which remains the ultimate owner today. Most Daim production for the Nordic and international markets still takes place at the historic Marabou factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden.
