Oddlygood is a dedicated plant-based brand that originated in Helsinki, Finland. It was founded by Valio, Finland's largest dairy cooperative, as a strategic response to the growing global demand for non-dairy alternatives. The brand initially focused on oat-based products, utilizing high-quality Nordic oats known for their sustainability and flavor profile.

In 2021, Oddlygood was spun off into an independent company, Oddlygood Global, to facilitate international growth. While Valio remains a major shareholder and production partner, the company has attracted significant investment from firms like Mandatum Asset Management. Manufacturing primarily takes place in Finland at Valio's facilities, but production has expanded to other regions through local partnerships to serve European and North American markets efficiently.
