Tassimo Hot Beverage System

Tassimo is a globally recognized single-serve beverage system that was first introduced in France in 2004. Originally developed by Kraft Foods, the brand has undergone significant ownership transitions following the corporate restructuring of its parent companies. Today, the brand's ownership is split geographically: in most international markets, including Europe, it is owned by JDE Peet's, whereas in North America, it is under the stewardship of Kraft Heinz.

In a major shift for the brand's future, Keurig Dr Pepper announced in late 2025 that it would acquire JDE Peet's in a multi-billion dollar deal. This acquisition, expected to be fully integrated by 2026, places Tassimo within a massive global coffee portfolio. The production of the proprietary T-Discs is handled by JDE Peet's facilities globally, while the brewing machines themselves are manufactured by Bosch through a long-standing partnership that began in 2008.
