The Telekom Speed Home WLAN is a high-performance mesh Wi-Fi repeater designed to extend wireless network coverage throughout a home. It features Wi-Fi 6 technology for high-speed data transmission, specifically optimized for applications like MagentaTV and 4K streaming.

Originally developed by Deutsche Telekom AG in Bonn, Germany, the device was designed by the in-house Telekom Design team. While the brand and design are German, the physical manufacturing of the hardware is primarily carried out in Vietnam by electronic manufacturing services partners such as Arcadyan Technology. This allows the company to maintain high technical standards while leveraging global manufacturing efficiencies.

Deutsche Telekom AG remains the ultimate owner and distributor of the product. The company is one of the world's leading telecommunications providers and is partially owned by the Federal Republic of Germany. Locally, the product is managed and distributed by its subsidiary, Telekom Deutschland GmbH.
