Kelme is a historic sports brand with a complex international identity that bridges European heritage and East Asian industrial strength. Founded in 1963 by brothers Diego and José Quiles in Elche, Spain, the brand rose to global prominence in the 1990s, most notably as the official kit supplier for Real Madrid and the Spanish national team during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Its signature 'claw' logo became synonymous with high-performance football and futsal gear.
While the brand maintains its spiritual home and design headquarters in Spain through New Millennium Sports S.L., its modern operations and manufacturing are heavily centered in China. In 2014, Kelme entered the Chinese market through a strategic partnership with Yuanxiang Garment Co., Ltd. Since then, the Chinese entity has become the driving force behind the brand's production and expansion, operating massive intelligent manufacturing centers in provinces like Fujian and Henan. Today, Kelme is recognized as a leading sponsor in Asian football while continuing to serve as a key player in the European and American sporting goods markets.
