Ardes home appliances

Ardes is a historic Italian brand specializing in small household appliances, including products for cooking, heating, and ventilation. Founded in 1945 in Gallarate, the company built its reputation on 'Made in Italy' quality, specifically moving its production to the Seriana Valley in Bergamo during the 1990s. While many of its core products, such as electric cookers and heaters, are still manufactured in Italy to maintain high quality and operational flexibility, some specialized lines or components are imported or produced in international facilities in Asia to remain competitive.

In October 2025, the brand underwent a significant ownership change. Previously a division of the Italian electrical equipment leader Poly Pool S.p.A. (part of the Scame Group), the Ardes small appliance business was sold to the Spanish group B&B Trends S.L. This acquisition integrated Ardes into a global portfolio alongside brands like Ufesa and Zelmer, establishing a new subsidiary known as B&B Trends Italia to manage operations and growth within the Italian market and beyond.
