The Tassenwichtel (Cup Gnomes) are a playful variety of their Meistersinger line, designed to be perched on the rim of a cup. These cookies are produced exclusively in Nuremberg, Germany, maintaining the city's geographical protection for authentic Lebkuchen.

The brand was originally established by the Jaeckel family and later named after Gottfried Wicklein. In 1988, the company was acquired by Lebkuchen-Schmidt (E.
