Tiendas 3B is a prominent hard-discount grocery chain operating throughout Mexico. The brand was founded in 2005 by Anthony Hatoum, a Lebanese-American entrepreneur who moved to Mexico to implement the successful European hard-discount model pioneered by brands like Aldi and Lidl. The name "3B" stands for 'Bueno, Bonito y Barato' (Good, Nice, and Cheap), reflecting the company's core value proposition of providing high-quality private-label and branded goods at the lowest possible prices.

Since its inception, the company has grown rapidly, establishing a massive footprint across central and southern Mexico. In early 2024, the parent company, BBB Foods Inc., successfully launched an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange, marking a significant milestone in its corporate history. While the company maintains its headquarters in Mexico City and focuses its operations entirely on the Mexican market, it is now a publicly traded entity with institutional investors worldwide.
