Belvita is a global brand of breakfast biscuits originally launched in France by the biscuit manufacturer Lefèvre-Utile (LU) in 1998. The brand was specifically designed to provide sustained energy release for the morning hours.
Following a series of corporate acquisitions, the brand became part of the Danone portfolio before being acquired by Kraft Foods, which eventually spun off its snack division to form Mondelez International. Today, Mondelez is the ultimate parent company, overseeing the engineering and distribution of various Belvita products across the globe. Production occurs in multiple manufacturing facilities, including prominent locations in France, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom.
