Baci Perugina is one of Italy's most iconic chocolate brands, famous for its hazelnut chocolates wrapped in a love note. The brand originated in Perugia, Italy, in 1922, created by Luisa Spagnoli at the Perugina chocolate company.

While Perugina was originally an independent Italian company, it was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in 1988. Today, it remains an integral part of the Nestlé portfolio. Despite being part of a global conglomerate, production remains rooted in its historical home; all Baci chocolates are manufactured at the San Sisto factory in Perugia, Italy, maintaining the authentic Italian heritage and quality that defines the brand.
