Sperlari is one of Italy's most iconic confectionery brands, best known for its traditional Cremonese torrone (nougat) and artisanal sweets. The brand was founded in 1836 by Enea Sperlari in Cremona, Lombardy, where it quickly became a symbol of Italian holiday traditions.

Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Italy, maintaining the heritage and quality associated with its Cremonese roots. Over the decades, the brand has changed hands several times. After being part of the Swedish group Cloetta for many years, Sperlari was acquired in 2017 by Katjes International, the investment arm of the German confectionery giant Katjes Group. Under German ownership, Sperlari continues to operate as an Italian brand with its production facilities remaining in Italy to preserve its authentic craftsmanship.
