Hak Preserved Vegetables

HAK is a renowned Dutch brand specializing in preserved vegetables and fruits, famous for its high-quality glass-jar packaging. Founded in 1952 by the Hak family in Giessen, the company revolutionized the market by being one of the first to offer transparency in food preservation, allowing consumers to see the quality of the produce inside. The brand is deeply rooted in the 'Land van Heusden en Altena' region, where much of its produce is still locally sourced.

Historically a family-owned venture, HAK underwent several ownership changes before being acquired by Neerlands Glorie. In 2021, the brand was acquired by the Russian food group KDV Group. However, following geopolitical shifts and strategic realignments, the brand's ultimate ownership and management continue to operate with a focus on Northern European standards.
