Bonafont Natural Water

Bonafont natural bottled water is 100% Mexican in origin, established in 1992 as the first bottled water brand in the country. It was founded by investors in Toluca, State of Mexico, and quickly became a market leader due to its focus on health and hydration for the Mexican population.

Since 1996, the brand has been under the ownership of Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation. While the ultimate ownership resides in France, the product is primarily manufactured and bottled at multiple local plants throughout Mexico (such as in Toluca and Guadalajara) to serve the domestic market. Danone de México operates as the local subsidiary managing the brand's extensive distribution network.
