Winston Rolling Tobacco

Winston is a globally recognized brand of cigarettes and rolling tobacco. Originally introduced in 1954 by the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in the United States, it was named after Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the city where the company was headquartered. The brand became famous for its marketing slogans and high-quality tobacco blends.

In 1999, the international operations of R. J. Reynolds were acquired by Japan Tobacco (JT). Since then, Winston is owned and manufactured in the United States by ITG Brands (a subsidiary of Imperial Brands) and everywhere else in the world by Japan Tobacco International (JTI).

The manufacturing of Winston products takes place in various countries depending on the regional market, including facilities in Germany, Poland, and Switzerland.
