Nicorette Fruitmint medicated chewing gum

Nicorette is a globally recognized brand in smoking cessation, originally developed in Sweden by the company Leo AB in the late 1960s. The brand pioneered nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) with the invention of the first medicated chewing gum. Most Nicorette products, including the Fruitmint variety shown, are primarily manufactured in Helsingborg, Sweden, in a carbon-neutral facility.

Following a series of corporate acquisitions over several decades involving companies like Pharmacia and Pfizer, Nicorette became part of the Johnson & Johnson family. In 2023, Johnson & Johnson spun off its consumer health division into a new independent company called Kenvue. As of 2024 and beyond, Kenvue is the ultimate owner and operator of the Nicorette brand, managing its global distribution and continuous innovation in the NRT market.
