Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack is a premium Tennessee whiskey known for its unique double-mellowing process. Originally launched in 1988, it is produced at the historic Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Unlike the standard Old No. 7, Gentleman Jack undergoes the charcoal mellowing process twice—once before entering the barrel and again after it has matured—resulting in an exceptionally smooth finish.

The brand was founded by Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel in the mid-19th century. In 1956, the distillery was acquired by the Brown-Forman Corporation, which remains its ultimate owner. Today, Brown-Forman is one of the largest American-owned spirits and wine companies, maintaining the heritage of the Lynchburg distillery while distributing the product globally. Even though the brand is international, every drop is still manufactured and bottled exclusively in Tennessee, USA.
