Rhum J.M XO

Rhum J.M is a prestigious producer of French agricultural rum (Rhum Agricole) based in Macouba, Martinique. The brand's history dates back to 1790 at the Fonds-Préville estate, originally purchased by Jean-Marie Martin, whose initials give the brand its name. Unlike industrial rums made from molasses, Rhum J.M is produced directly from fresh sugarcane juice grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Pelée.

The distillery is renowned for its traditional methods and high-quality aging processes. Since 2002, the brand and the Fonds-Préville distillery have been owned by the Groupe Bernard Hayot (GBH), a major Martinique-based international conglomerate. GBH has invested significantly in the brand to maintain its premium status while expanding its global distribution reach. The manufacturing remains strictly artisanal and rooted in the terroir of northern Martinique.
