The brand was originally created by Dansk Coladrik A/S. Over the years, the intellectual property and production for Jolly have changed hands within the Danish market. Significant consolidation occurred under Bryggerigruppen (now Royal Unibrew), but currently, the Jolly brand is part of the portfolio owned and maintained by the Danish brewery group Bryggeriet Vestfyen.

Today, Jolly Time is primarily manufactured in Denmark at the facilities of Bryggeriet Vestfyen in Assens. The brand remains a nostalgic favorite in Denmark, maintaining its distinct identity separate from global conglomerates, symbolizing national soft drink heritage.
