Cafés Fortaleza is a prestigious Spanish coffee brand with a heritage dating back to 1885, when it was founded in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. Historically a family-owned Basque company, it has become a leader in the coffee sector, particularly known for its high-quality roasts and Nespresso-compatible aluminium capsules like the Platinium Toffee variety shown here.

In constant pursuit of growth, the company was acquired by the Italian coffee giant Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group (MZB). This acquisition allowed the brand to leverage global distribution networks while maintaining its traditional roasting profiles and local manufacturing base in Spain. Today, under the ownership of MZB, Fortaleza continues to represent Spanish coffee craftsmanship on an international scale.
