Kosan Gas LPG

Kosan Gas is a leading supplier of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in Northern Europe, particularly in Denmark. The brand originated in Denmark under the Danish gas and appliance company Kosan. Over the decades, it has become a household name for cooking, heating, and industrial gas solutions.

The brand has undergone several ownership changes. In 1989, it was acquired by British Petroleum (BP), and later, in 2010, it became part of UGI Corporation through its European subsidiary UGI International. Today, it operates as a key part of the UGI group, a global distributor and marketer of energy products. While the branding remains deeply rooted in Danish industrial history, the gas itself is sourced from various international refineries and distributed through a local network of filling stations and retailers across the Nordic region.
