Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gums toothpaste

Sensodyne is a globally recognized oral health brand specialized in toothpaste and mouthwash for people with sensitive teeth. It was originally launched in 1961 by Block Drug, an American pharmaceutical company based in Brooklyn, New York.

Over the decades, the brand underwent significant corporate ownership changes. In 2001, Block Drug was acquired by the British multinational GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division to form a new independent company called Haleon. Sensodyne is now the flagship brand of Haleon, which is headquartered in the United Kingdom.

Manufacturing of Sensodyne products is decentralized to serve global markets efficiently. Principal production facilities are located in the United Kingdom (Maidenhead), the United States, and Slovakia (Levice), which supplies much of the European market. Depending on the specific region and variant, products may also be manufactured in other local hubs.
