Redoxon is a long-standing vitamin supplement brand originally launched by the Swiss company Hoffmann-La Roche in 1934. It was famously known as the first mass-produced synthetic vitamin C.
In 2004, the global consumer health division of Roche, including the Redoxon brand, was acquired by Bayer AG. Today, the product is part of Bayer's expansive consumer health portfolio. For the Mexican market, production is typically handled domestically at Bayer's facilities (such as those in Lerma, Estado de México), while global distribution is managed through Bayer's various international subsidiaries.
