The product is a multifloral mānuka honey, specifically harvested and processed in New Zealand, where the Leptospermum scoparium (Manuka) plant is indigenous. The brand was created to make mānuka honey more accessible for daily use through vibrant, modern packaging.

In 2024 and beyond, Manuka Health (and its MaJoy brand) remains under the ownership of Sea Harvest Group, an international fishing and consumer brands business. Although Sea Harvest is headquartered in South Africa, the production and sourcing operations for MaJoy continue to be localized in New Zealand to maintain the authenticity and regulatory standards of genuine mānuka honey.
