Xerodent lozenges

Xerodent is a specialized pharmaceutical product used to treat dry mouth (xerostomia) and prevent cavities. It was originally developed in Sweden and contains malic acid and fluoride to stimulate saliva production while protecting tooth enamel.

The brand is owned by Karo Healthcare (formerly Karo Pharma), a Swedish healthcare company headquartered in Stockholm. While the brand is Swedish in origin, Karo Healthcare itself is owned by the Swedish private equity firm EQT Partners. Production primarily takes place in Sweden to serve the Nordic markets.
