Neutrogena is a globally recognized skin and hair care brand with roots in the United States. Originally founded as Natone in 1930 by Emanuel Stolaroff, it became famous for its mild, pH-neutral soap imported from Belgium. The brand was later renamed Neutrogena and was ultimately acquired by the multinational conglomerate Johnson & Johnson in 1994.

Starting in 2023, following a major corporate restructuring, the consumer health division of Johnson & Johnson—which includes Neutrogena—spun off to form a new independent company called Kenvue. Although the brand has American origins, this specific product is manufactured in Colombia for the Latin American market, specifically by Johnson & Johnson de Colombia S.A. and distributed by local subsidiaries like Johnson & Johnson Mexico.
