Bob is a classic Swedish brand that has been a staple in local households since its inception in 1948 in Kumla. Originally founded by the grocery cooperative association, the brand quickly became known for its 'Squeezy' bottles and high-quality fruit-based products including jams (sylt), marmalades, and fruit squashes (saft).

Today, Bob is primarily manufactured at Orkla's production facility in Kumla/Tollarp, maintaining its deep-rooted heritage in Swedish food culture. While it remains a quintessentially Swedish brand in terms of consumer recognition, it is now owned by the Norwegian industrial conglomerate Orkla ASA through its Swedish subsidiary, Orkla Foods Sverige. The brand continues to focus on convenience and the preservation of traditional fruit flavors.
