Jacques Vabre is a long-standing French coffee brand founded in 1968. While the brand is deeply rooted in French heritage, particularly through its sponsorship of the Transat Jacques Vabre sailing race, the physical processing of the coffee often occurs in various European facilities owned by its parent company. The raw green coffee beans are sourced from non-EU countries, predominantly from South America and Africa, and according to the packaging, it is packaged under a protective atmosphere.

Since 2015, Jacques Vabre has been under the ownership of JDE Peet's, a global coffee giant formed by the merger of D.E Master Blenders 1753 and the coffee division of Mondelez International. JDE Peet's is headquartered in the Netherlands and is controlled by JAB Holding Company. The brand remains a staple in the French market, managed through local subsidiaries while leveraging the global supply chain of its Dutch parent organization.
