Nestlé Lion Caramel & Chocolate Cereal

Lion Cereal is a breakfast cereal inspired by the famous Lion chocolate bar. The Lion brand originated in the United Kingdom, where the chocolate bar was first created by Eric Nicoli of Rowntree's in 1976. Following the acquisition of Rowntree's by Nestlé in 1988, the brand began to expand internationally and across different product categories.

The cereal version is part of Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture between Nestlé and General Mills established in 1990. While the brand is Swiss-owned via Nestlé, the actual manufacturing takes place in various factories across Europe (notably Poland and France) to serve local markets. The product is widely recognized for its combination of caramel and chocolate flavors, mirroring the profile of the original confectionery item.
