I Contadini is a family-run agricultural company deeply rooted in the Salento sub-region of Puglia, Italy. The brand specializes in traditional Puglian preserves and baked goods, maintaining a 'closed-loop' production process where ingredients are grown on their own 52 hectares of land and processed in their nearby facility in Ugento. These specific friselline are made using 'Senatore Cappelli' durum wheat semolina, an ancient Italian grain variety, and flavored with local 'cime di rapa' (broccoli rabe).

Ownership remains strictly within the founding family. The company was revitalized in 2003 by the Trentin siblings—Edoardo, Emanuele, and Gianna—who built upon the agricultural legacy left by their grandfather, Fiumano. They have combined traditional manual harvesting and sun-drying techniques with modern quality standards to bring authentic Salentine flavors to a global market, while remaining an independent, family-owned entity headquartered in the province of Lecce.
